Our Story
We’ve been playing Yu-Gi-Oh! since 2004.
We’ve played through Goat, TeleDAD, Lightsworn formats, the Synchro era, and everything in between. When Edison Format started gaining traction again, we were already familiar with the card pool, the pacing, and what made that era special.
This site exists because Edison isn’t just “old Yu-Gi-Oh!” It’s a distinct competitive environment with its own strategies, deck theory and technical rulings.
And most guides out there barely scratch the surface.
Why We Built This
We started creating Yu-Gi-Oh! content back in 2009, testing decks, breaking down match-ups, and helping players understand why certain builds worked.
Edison Format deserves more than recycled deck-lists and outdated forum posts.

Who Runs This Site
This site is led by Mariana, who oversees deck testing, format analysis and content updates, with support from a dedicated team of long-time Edison players.
Every guide here is based on actual play experience, not theory-crafting without reps.
